Feed the Hungry 2018

As Muslims, it is our duty to give charity and help those in need. Not only to those suffering around the world but also those in our own communities. There are so many people that are going without the basic necessities of life. There are so many people that are going days without eating, that are living on the streets, that are out here simply trying to survive with the minimal resources they have. It’s so important to do what we can to help them.

Pious Project launched their first Feed the Hungry campaign in 2015 and was able to put together and deliver 1,200 meals for the homeless in the Chicago area. This event that started as a local project has evolved into a nation-wide project and is working towards feeding the hungry in cities around the United States. Their goal for this year is to be apart of 30 cities and assemble 50,000 meals. To find out a little more about them, click the link below!

I’m very excited to be apart of this project this year. I’m volunteering along with a good friend of mine to bring this initiative to Cleveland and help those in our communities. We are currently raising money for meals and supplies to feed the homeless in our area.

I’m calling on all of you to be apart of this. We appreciate any amount that you can spare. I’ve included a link in this post to donate via Facebook.  If you cannot donate, please forward this information along. We are trying to spread the word to as many as we possibly can.

I hope we can all pull together to make a difference in someone’s life.
